Even though it's the worst game in the series, this game is still addictive.

As a huge Metal Gear Solid fan, this was actually my first Metal Gear Solid game. And yet I loved it. I really didn't know of Metal Gear Solid games back then, but I knew this game will probably do will in the future (and it has). Substance is a really amazing game, it adds features that weren't in Sons of Liberty. Such as VR Missions, more extra stuff, and more control options! As for the story, it's the exact same story as Sons of Liberty. The story takes after a few years after Metal Gear Solid 1. Snake has to take photos of a new Metal Gear being produced. Metal Gear Solid 2 adds a lot of new stuff that weren't in the first one: such as a first person view, Snake can actually roll, and (in my opinion) has a better camera angle. If you have played Metal Gear Solid 1 and have a PlayStation 2, you should definitely own this game. Overall score 9.0./10.
