Metal Gear Rising has been on the radar for many gamers for years. Since Kojima Productions announced it, then just a little over a year ago we found ou that production had been handed over to Platinium games. Now It was a smart move but Rising is not Metal Gear Solid. Imagine Metal Gear Much like Dirge of Cerberus Final Fantasy VII. A step away from what the series is like but nonetheless and enjoyable game. Even its atmosphere and boss fights reminds me of Dirge of Cerberus. Its not a bad thing both games were fun it's just when comparing them to the original series they don't do much justice.

Its nice to see Raiden back in action and being able to control him in is cyborg ninja mode is pretty sweet. The game play isn't exepctional but fun. most fun comes from chopping up enemies and the envoirment in blade mode. It does have some stealth but heavily relies on the new action set for Raiden. Raiden is about the only cool character in the game the enemies are lame and so are most of the characters. Its story really lacks cause its like a story we have all heard before but all in all, Metal Gear Rising is a game that a fan of the series should still try out. It was a game ment to bring Raiden back into the spotlight and since he is a cyborg he doesn't need to sneek around anymore. Be forwarned its not Metal Gear Solid but it is still a fun game. Slicin Ninja Style 8/10.
