Lets be really blunt. This game is not Metal Gear. It should be called Cyborg Ninja Raiden. The environmental Graphics are great. The cut scene and character graphics are not soo much. The action is fast but unfortunately there is no thought process needed for the fights. Its basically nothing more than a hack and slash game that is loosely based on Solid. The maps are all linear little to no item hunting and exploration. All the best parts of the old item and weapon systems have been removed. The new upgrades are way too easy to acquire and do not even make a difference in combat. Hard mode is way too easy. The only skill needed is the ability to push a button faster. If all your looking for is a hack and slash button mashing game this is definitely for you. If your looking to play Metal Gear then go dust of your old ps or ps2 games (snake eater was the last great metal gear game). or go buy the ps3 trilogy set.
