Metal Gear Acid 2 offers unique gameplay and hours of entertainment for any PSP owner!
Metal Gear Acid 2 has it's own personal storyline, seperate from the Metal Gear Solid Series, its a very interesting storyline that introduces alot of new characters and will keep you playing for hours.
The games gameplay is very good; it involves collecting cards and building a deck, these cards are used to move and perform other actions during gameplay, a certain number of cards appear on you screen each turn and you can only perform a certain amount of actions each turn (using a card classes as an action), this keeps you thinking strategically, so that you keep the element of stealth, making it easier to complete your mission.
There is over 500 cards to collect and there are several different types of cards, for example: Equip cards, Use cards, Character cards, etc... You can earn cards by playing the game in; story mode, or arena mode (a mode were you verse classic Metal Gear bosses), you can also buy cards or use passwords to unlock them.
Metal Gear Acid 2 comes with 3D goggles in the form of a miniature black box, this is called the 'Solid Eye'. The Solid eye can be used in the Solid theatre were you can see Metal Gear movies and sexy asian chicks in 3D. The Solid eye is a very poor and annoying new feature; it is annoying too set up, it's very annoying to travel with, the 3D theatre can strain your eyes, its sometimes hard too see the 3D, and the 'Solid Eye' can break easy (since it's made of cardboard)
The game offers comic book like graphics which work really well with the gameplay.
The games sound quality is alright considering the characters dont talk, you have to read what they say.
Overall: Metal Gear Acid 2 is a great game and is one worth getting on the PSP if you like strategic games.
