This is a game for those who appreciate character building and searching for item drops, not for the casual gamer.

I am writing this review as a warning for any unsuspecting people who may decide that this looks like a good game. It is, but only if you can ignore the lack of a plot and are able to play a game just to become more and more powerful. Kind of like an MMOG but without other people. All aspects of this game are without fault, but bland. So very bland. All the areas in the dungeons are essentially the same except for a few cosmetic changes so you will be exploring a large rectangle divided into various rooms each time you go down. The monsters are not particularly interesting and as an added bonus, you get to fight them again at a higher level nine times after you beat them originally. As far as character customization is concerned you can do some nice things like change body shape, facial features, and height but the characters don't change when you equip them with new armor or weapons. So if your looking for a long, repetitive game where you can try to maximize your characters against harder and harder enemies this very well could be the game for you, but other wise keep away.

Gameplay: It plays like a typical RPG, you go into a dungeon with a party of 1-5 characters where each area of the dungeon changes every time you go down. You can get in encounters with enemies by either opening doors or running into robots floating throughout all the areas. It is easy to learn how to level your characters and you get new items consistently as you progress through the game. Your characters fight automatically and you are left to try to change their commands before their next move. This is a nice feature to help get you through the innumerable random battles though. You can also, thankfully, turn off the battle animations all together to make the battles even quicker although this looks like two groups standing in a line doing damage by staring at each other.

Graphics: Solid but with no really noticeable standout qualities. You can tell what area of the dungeon you are in just by the walls but other then that the graphics are just a lot of gray metal.

Sound: Ok, the music gets kind of repetitious but it isn't bad. And the sound effects are nothing special but match what is happening well.

Value: How much do you like RPGs, and in particular leveling? Is it worth 140 hours to play through all 100 levels to receive nothing but the knowledge that you did it? This game is worth getting if you really enjoy leveling and item collection. The length of the game is very long and as the level limit seems to be 1,000+, you don't have to worry about maxing out early while trying to get all the numerous item drops. And by numerous I mean around 780 items.
