This game is quite good. You have a choice to do whatever the hell you want!

First off, I don't believe the title should be "Playground of Destruction." Nothing can really be destroyed, give or take boxes and vehicles. That was one reason I was not fully satisfied. However, I could understand, since the game is a bit old.

The biggest problem: YOU CAN'T SWIM!!!! Even this is a minor problem though.

The game is free roaming (the area is not big, but not small either.) The player can be corrupt and nasty and accept contracts from tons of different countries and corporations! This creates a variety of missions, most of which are fun and easy to understand. This, along with the military theme and variety of environments, guns, outfits, weapons, vehicles and more make it a great game just for that.

Overall, I would recommend at least renting the game.
