This was my first megaman X game and one of my first megaman games (I got megaman aniversary collection and this one for my birthday). I thought both were really awesome and I still do.

And Isn't mega man about going through a stage kill robots then a big robot and then steal their weapon.

Hold on you are telling me burn roster is a dumber idea of a character than bubble man. Yes I think the roster is kind of dumb but it does not look to bad and again I have not seen any robot ( yet ) that is worse than freaking bubble man, and again their are worst robots.

You completely failed to mention the storyline... Command Mission is not a series and it is the final chapter in the X saga. Please actually play more than 2 minutes of the game

X8 is my second favorite X game! Next to X4.

I never said it wasn't, but this guy talks about level design and difficulty, which is much more of an issue in X6.

X6 was the last good megaman game. And you know why.

This review is really quite poor. X8 is, I feel, one of the best of the X series. Anyone that finds X8 difficult really can't play Megaman X games. Here's a hint, play on "Easy" if you find it difficult. Dying on spikes too much? Buy a Prickle Barrier. They're affordable and the first of its kind in this series. To sum up, X8 has some great level design (compared to some of the abysmal levels in past X games......X6 anyone?) decent graphics, awesome score and fun gampelay. One of the best ones I own.

Actually... you're kinda completely wrong... This game is amazingly fun, and it's not so hard... And we use the weapons. And finding the instant death spots isn't hard. It's *supposed* to be hard the first time you try. But even people who hate the other X games love this one because it's *FUN*. I've had this game for over a year and I still play it often. If you want to talk about an annoyingly hard level design, try X6.
