Enjoyable, for a few days

I've played Mega Man ever since I got my NES 15 years ago, but I never owned an SNES, so the first time I played the original Mega Man X was when I got X Collection. And believe me, that game is probably the best in the entire X series. Now, when the clerk at EB Games recommended this game to me, I was somewhat skeptical. I mean, the PSP at the time was devoid of enjoyable games, so I didn't know what to expect from this one. I was wrong to be skeptical. This game was fun, despite the fact that it is a remake. Capcom's decision to add new stuff to the game, as well as to change a few things, was a good one, because if this was just a souped-up version of Mega Man X, I would've traded it in a heartbeat. The graphics look great, despite a few slowdowns here and there. The music is okay, and the voice acting isn't bad. However, this game has very little replay value once you've cleared it twice, which is a common problem with all Mega Man platformers. All in all, I'd have to say that this game is a worthy effort by Capcom to bring the Blue Bomber to the PSP.
