Combines traditional RPG elements with action packed battling. Don't listen to gamespot because this game is a good one.

User Rating: 9 | Mega Man Battle Network 6: Cybeast Falzar GBA
The good:
Combines RPG elements with high action battles very effectively.
Lots of side quests and optional boss fights.
The new tag chip system is good.
Difficulty is just right.
A good ending to an even better series.

The bad:
Fairly similar to past Battle Network games so if you have never enjoyed the series you probably wont now.
This is a pet peeve of mine but right before the final boss this high urgency music starts playing. Even after you beat the boss and are exploring the town the same music keeps playing!

Gamespot has been ripping on the Battle Network games since the fourth game, and I can't really see why. You wont read this in gamespot's review but the games are all not exactly the same. Battle Network 6 takes place in a brand new location and introduces some new characters. Also, the tag chip system is introduced which allows you to select two chips that will always appear together making program advances a lot easier. The plot is completely unique among Battle Network games, and so is the ending. Now on to the review.
Gameplay:
The game plays out like a traditional RPG but there is technically no XP. You do however earn money at the end of each battle, and that money is used to by program parts such as "Attack +1" or "HP+20" so the money works as XP. You also power up by buying more powerful battlechips. Chips are essentially attacks so the stronger your chips, the stronger your attacks. Since chips and program parts both cost money, it can be interesting to decide weather you want your megaman to have good attacks or good stats. The battles are the core element of the game. Each battle takes place in real time and you can attack with your megabuster or by using the aforementioned battle chips. As the battle goes on, a gauge at the top will slowly fills and when it does, you can pause the game and send megaman more battlechips. Overall the mixture of RPG with fast paced battles is quite enjoyable. 9/10
Sound:
Mostly new music although it does tend to sound like previous Battle Network games. The music is all in stereo so thats good. There isn't anything very memorable but it gets the job done 7.5/10
Graphics:
Some of the best graphics found on the Gameboy Advance. The game is full of bright colours and all of the sprites look excellent. The battles are animated very well. 9.5/10
Value: The story is a decent length on its own but there is lots to do after. There is a job board full of things you can do to earn extra money or rare chips. Also there are two optional bosses who are arguably harder then the end boss. One is Bass, someone who megaman fans should known. The second one is Protoman. You can fight three versions of Protoman, each harder than the last. The final form is a force to be reckoned with and really motivates you to keep looking for good chips and to keep powering up megaman.
Tilt:
It is a good ending to a great series and one all megaman Battle Network fans will enjoy. If you are new to the series this is a good one to start with since it doesn't require you to have played the previous games. And finally, this game is just plain fun!!!
