I can't believe how high the user rating is for this game! The most overrated of the NES adventures.

I believe I played this game for the first time on my GameCube on the Mega Man Anniversary Collection. I thought that the bosses were even more unoriginal than the first game and for the most part, they were all pretty easy. At least 1 was still a good game and was difficult.

I never actually got around to beating this game for some reason, but I did manage to beat all of the bosses. Maybe it eventually got harder or I just lost interest because this game was uninspired.

Mega Man 4 was one of the peaks in the series while 5 was a worthy follow up. But it seemed like they were seriously running out of ideas for 6. Flame Man? Blizzard Man? PLANT MAN? Really?!

The addition of Beat was kind of neat because he was kinda useful and very cute. But this game was seriously lacking what Mega Man was usually about. Mega Man 2 was the absolute peak of the series and this game really pales in comparison in just about every single way.

All in all, it wasn't that great of a game from the get go and is ultimately the worst in the main Mega Man series. However, would I play it again if I somehow got my hands on Mega Man Anniversary Collection again? You betcha. Just so I can say I finally beat it. :)
