I've been a huge Mega Man X fan over the years and liked some of the non-X games. This game is suprisingly good; awesome graphics but not faux 3D ones like later X games had, and not horrendous graphics like original Mega Man games had. Music is evocative of all the series: tough guy rock and techno sounds.
Critics haven't been as kinda to it as I think deserves. It is very difficult, no doubt. However, if you're patient, and make good use of bolts and Dr. Light's shop, its doable.
