I didn't like it Battlefield Vietnam, but Bad Company 2 Expansion pack on Vietnam seems cool.

Vietnam as a DLC? I like that idea a lot standalone I wouldn't but I would really love to see BF 2143

Hey EA, it says its only coming for XBOX 360 and PS3 on Gamespot. Does this mean that PC users will end up like BF 1943 for PC, if so, carry on, get all the bugs fixed. If not, whats up? The PC started the freaking Battlefield series!

The comment ratings system is simply a veiled way for them to survey your opinions without you having to fill one out, while at the same time making gamespot more interactive(win/win I guess)... Sorry, that's how it is. EA is in the toilet; PR/Marketing have been put high above quality control, and the quality is just barely at par with other publishers. Censorship, marketing, and greed/company raping are a few things which have stopped insanely incredibly amazing games in their tracks... If these limitations of greed could be overcome and creative energy allowed to truly flow freely without so much exploitation and political garbage, we would see a much different and much more sophisticated gaming world. It's coming, just a lot slower than it should. Technology is way ahead of design... By the way she IS VERY hot to those men who find irritated smart women attractive. She is NOT hot if her attitude/behavior was maybe confusing to you and you were slightly afraid of her obvious negative feelings about promoting sociopath smut likely direct from the arms manufacturing s**t f***ks who try to make death into porn all the time... I clicked on this because of a misleading link to "bad company 1 @ e3"... i only clicked it because I knew it shouldn't be there, and I get this crap. EA doesn't know squat. Guns disgust me, and so does the sight of so many AK47 and M16 shells arranged in some kind of sick tapestry. I play battlefield bad company 2 for the battles not to "love guns" or to "Love Henry kissinger".... GHEY coprporation ass-kissing this will never fly in canada! Screw arms manufacturers, even though shooting them is almost ALWAYS FUN, but this chick is like selling death as porn to childrent it seems... Just thoughts, but focusing on worshiping guns sounds not only really geeky and retarded, but really sick too. Also, "Gun Club" hasw absolutely no substance. All I smell is junk e-mail and a couple of completely useless betas(which by the way they should pay you to test as opposed to requireing paid subscritions for betas like filevampirebloodsuckerplanet). Grrrrr money makes people STUPID!

Love the way they have made the Bad Company 2 Vietnam add. They used the exact same music as when Forrest Gump entered Vietnam.

Battlefield badcompany 2 vietnam is coming out on the 31st of december and so is Crysis 2, i'm buying Cryisis 2 not vietnam seriously they should release it earlier, before MOH aswell we need something to fill the gap

to be fair all they are doing is releasing more content for those who wish to buy it they arent making money off the little man cause it optional and i for one will be tanning this :-D

what's after this, a BFBC2-2142 expansion? I've got nothing against the BF franchise, but this smells like a typical EA cash-in for the sake of cashing in. And beta access is overrated. Find a way to encourage people to spend top dollar so they can have beta access to "quality test" the end product they've been suckered into paying extra for... most other industries you'd be considered an employee doing this kind of work, here you're considered a "loyal paying customer". This kind of shameless grab for money is what has been responsible for the frequent dumbing down of games in the industry across all the platforms... as well as the rise of annoying 12 year olds screaming over voip during multiplay matches, and waving their "my favourite franchise could beat up your favourite franchise any day" flags. And seriously, if you are THAT deprived of female contact that a chick giving a memorised speech about "games" gets you off, you need to put the gamepad down and walk out the front door. Live alittle in the real world !!!

What a joke, have to pre-order the game! Nearly 600 hours of multi play and that lagggggg is still there, fix the lag and I might think about getting Medal of Honor.

I hope BFvietnam has better carnage. I wanna see bloodstains or wounds on bodies and gore. Bullets should leave wounds or at least a red mark...bullets leave holes in the buildings so it would make sense if they did the same to enemies. Destructible environments but no destructible bodies??? Now how does that make sense. Ever since playing FEAR and CODW@W, every modern FPS MUST HAVE CARNAGE! Otherwise its just not as fun for me.

I mean who doesn't love maps akin to the landscape but come on, battlefield Vietnam !? You've kept us waiting this long for some real "new" maps to come out for this game aside from not solving any of the lag or connection issues, now your just going to re-release the same game you did years ago with a few new mechanics? Sickning, I'll be selling my copy of bf2 asap.

During that montage for gun club, did I see what looked like Team Fortress 3? Valve is an EA partner though, so it's not impossible. Wonder if that was the surprise from Valve's cancelled show... Probably wrong, someone correct me and tell me what game that actually was.

i remember i loved battlefield: vietnam when it came out a while ago. funny thing is that the intro music was also creedence and I think that the recording of the vietnamese woman who speaks over the loudspeaker is EXACTLY the same voice as the one from the first battlefield vietnam game (I played enough of it to have it edged into my memory forever)
