Why pass the competition, when you can stand alone.
The campaign, contrary to popular belief, is roughly 7-9 hours depending on your difficulty. This portion of the game is simply exhilarating, intense, and completely immersive. The combat engine is superb and although the friendly A.I occasionally behaves unexpectedly, you always feel that you are a part of an elite group, in a very complex story. For those of you in the military, you will be able to notice the level of authenticity displayed in the game.
The MP is also somewhat of a surprise. There is nothing innovative here but with a good group, the game has the potential to get very satisfying. In truth, I will say this. If EA/dice had the inclination to become a prominent figure in the FPS genre, it should have saturated the game with maps, game modes, and everything imaginable that can better the experience of gamers. The MP is a very addicting experience. However, the lack of variety, in the way of maps, can come to make this experience a very dull one. Still, the game delivers a high impact game that will most definitely leave its mark.
