It's all about the point man in the second part of the SEAL Team 6 Combat Training series for Medal of Honor: Warfighter.
Cant wait, pre-ordered on PC.........hope there is bloody VOIP unlike BF3, there is NO team work in BF3 on PC, unless you play with real friends....
What servers are you playing? BF3 has plenty of team work, you're bound to get the couple games where people don't play as a team but it's a good game, despite EA's stupid origin @TERMINATOR-SSD
@jerryatricrejec i have no problem with the game, when i am playing with friends and we can talk to each other. But im not online all the time when my friends are, so when playing with random people its just hopless thanks to the lack of VOIP.
All it needs is battlelog to syncs up to your game and makes a voice party for you with your squad, as battlelog tracks your game anyway i see no reason why they have not dont this.
why would any one buy this when halo 4 is out 5 days later, bored of these type of shooters now halo here i come:)
Think about a WW2 shooter powered by Frostbite 2 engine. I guess that's the new MoH many of us really want.
But they have to make yet another modern military shooter. Sigh.
I don't know why half of you even bother clicking on the link...nothing but hate. True, I agree with you guys that the last MOH campaign was very short BUT it was a pretty epic experience still. Yes, the multiplayer wasn't the greatest BUT I did like that it was actually DIFFERENT and it wasn't about who had the most Perks or better Killstreaks. Everyone was even for the most part and it depended on your skill with the Gun, the way it should be. We've had how many iterations of COD now? Yet people still buy it and play it. This is only the 2nd MODERN MOH, so I say let's give them the benefit of the doubt and hope they make an awesome gaming experience. Already pre-ordered on GovX!!!
@AmirLegend23 BF4 = Battlefield 4 pre game release code, used for testing the game for game play gliches before the general release - but surely you knew that already????
Have very low expectations on this game after the last. Super short near on rails campaign and annoying multiplayer. Seems like more money and time is placed in marketing and soundtrack then the game itself.
@the13stuff I totally agree with you, I had never played a MoH game but was very attracted to the previous itteration & totally found the campaign v.short and the MP the most annoying ever!!
From what I understand, SEAL Team Six is their "unofficial" name, and some operators still use that name. I think they don't even use DEVGRU anymore.
After all, it is a highly secretive service, so I doubt anyone here would know its real name.
@tredo Yes you are correct in it could be used as an "unofficial" name.. However Seal Team 6 was "dissolved" in 1987 which it operated under Navy Special Warfare Command as a part of U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM). Now it is officially known as DEVGRU (Development Group) that operates under Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) along with Delta Force and a couple of other SF units.
Seal Team 6 got murdered in real life, thats true. But i think Seal team 6 is just a name for that entire branch of SEALs, there are many more of them than just one "team" like the name implys.
Ha ha ha what is this!? It's a video game, for Christ' sake! Why censor his voice?! Oh my god come on.
what a gimmick to censor guys voices and pretend like its secret. its just marketing and its 15 year olds and kids who buy into that type of stuff.. wow real Seal Team 6 endorses this game!! Really? Do they? Cmon
Try as they might its just going to be another super linear wannabe realistic game out there to please the ex COD fanboy kiddies.
Why was I able to play more strategic and open ended missions on my PC with like 1/20 the hardware about 12 years ago?
@grove12345 Thats the beauty of games. They don't have to all be the same. The fact that you bring "linear" into game like this makes no sense. Usually in a war FPS, you're a Sargent taking ORDERS. You don't decide where you want to go, or how you do the mission. Not all games have to be open world to be fun. I personally love playing Far cry and Fallout while at same time enjoyed the last MOH. Seriously. When did the gaming community get so snobbish.
Finally, a gritty modern day shooter. I wish developers would make more of these types of games. We just dont get enough of them.
@Fizzman wish they add more customization to your team and missions werent linear. Why cant i determine how to carry out the mission? The devs just script everything. If you think this game is something new and innovative go play some much older games and be prepared to use your brain for once.
i liked the previous game over the bf series actually as far as sp campaigns. out of all the fps i am more excited about this game....i don't know if its a day one buy, but im gonna definitely pick this up
@netskot I'm worried about this one. I liked that the first one was based on a real war happening now that focused on the soldiers. This one sounds more and more like yet another overly dramatic action story following (imo) the less memorable characters in the first game.
@Black_Hand_313 would you recommend the first MoH? i don't do much multiplayer and the single player campaign matters much more to me. i liked the BFBC2 campaign and generally like war shooters, but heard that MoH wasn't very good. is it at least as good as BFBC2?
I'd definitely recommend it for the singleplayer (note my opinion on BFBC2: not great overall but did have some good missions). The complaints were due to the fact it was short (4-5 hours as is standard for fps these days) and multiplayer is nothing special. Rented it when it came out and PC version cost me $7, couldn't say no to that price :P
@endorbr thanks fixing now.
