We catch up with producer Luke Thai on the floor of Tokyo Game Show 2012 to give us the update on Medal of Honor: Warfighter.
@Carlito2222 ?so angry, I'ts just a game have a cookie if your sugar is low,Lol
@seanbrandowen lol. You're right! It's not my style to be angry about a game. But this is an exception. For me, they crossed the line in glorifying war and especially in selling guns as a side project!
authentic this, authentic that. bla bla bla bla... Send this producer to war and he will not survive an hour. He will not even reach the battlefield. His teammates would have eaten him before, because of his warmongering yankee-praising crap. (copyright gufberg)
not to mention their idea of weapon accuracy involves the devs trying out guns by sitting in an A/C room with the gun prompt up on a table fully supported. Not running around in 80lbs of gear in the standing position on full or semi auto.... like how the characters are in the game.
Theres a reason why soldiers carry lots of ammo. Because aiming aint that easy on the go. Plus that body armor that the character is skinned with actually does stuff, like stop bullets...unlike in these games. Aiming at the chest shouldnt result in damage most of the time. Distance/caliber pending.
Im not complaining about "realism" . Just seems these games ditch any form of Hardcore strategy in favor of the typical run and gun we've been seeing for about a decade. Add some more complex factors and teamwork will become a way to play this game. Not another frag fest.
Then theres the whole 100% scripted events and running straight down the level in singleplayer, with no option for strategic elements or planning. Yet again another game basically moving backwards in gaming world instead of trying something "new". By new i mean something that was done about a decade + ago. Basically this is COD 7.
@grove12345 @Carlito2222 oh because it would be very fun to have to shoot the gun like you had 80 pounds on your back. its a fuckin video game and a lot of it will be pretty realistic and parts of it wont, wanna know why, because its not real! jeeze what do you expect them to say "oh we made a very unrealistic game this time around and oh by the way its sucks". dumb ass
The day they make a MoH where i can play anti-american insurgents is the day they can actually make me buy their warmongering yankee-praising crap.
