Everyone is probably more excited for COD: Rise of the Machines.

This, pretty much everything that needed to be talked about has been talked about, once the game comes out this board will liven up some.

The last game didn't make much of a splash. The campaign was okay, but CoD has a monopoly on multiplayer that many games have tried to crack and none have succeeded at doing so. Killzone and Battlefield are the only contenders.

I think Warfighter uses the same engine as BF3, which is why I think it might do well. It's just interesting that the Black Ops 2 boards are lively, yet this once has a couple posts each month.

Although, the quality of the Black Ops 2 threads is pretty lacking. CoD definitely has one of the worst communities ever. Perhaps it's better that Warfighter might get overlooked by the squeaker crowd.

    Killzone ****... haha lol

this game looks ****, another clone of BF, anybody play the last MoH?

an inferior version of BF in everyway, stick with BF...its practically the same.

and you guys complain about Cod being the same rehash every year.

What makes you say it's an inferior version of BF? I haven't played BF3, so what does it do better than what you expect Warfighter to do?

I'm excited about this game. I have it on pre order.

I liked MOH 2010. It was based on real events, and wasn't a fictional Red Dawn Russian invasion scenario like COD or Battlefield. It just felt more realistic to me. The campaign was excellent, IMO. It showed what the soldiers are going through over there.

Warfighter should hopefully continue the tradition. It's written by real Tier One operators. I don't know why this board isn't more active, Warfighter looks much better than COD Black Ops II (same old, same old)

Maybe people really are getting sick of military FPSs? That's not fair on MOH though, I think it's much better than Call of Duty.

I'm hoping Warfighter provides a different experience than CoD. I intend to pick up Black Ops 2 as well. I want Black Ops to be quick, fast paced style shooting. I want Warfighter to be more methodical and slower. It'll be interesting to see how they stack up.

I think this looks better than Black Ops 2 (which sadly will sell more though I bet it'll get the same backlash MW3 did), but I've been burned by EA way too many times to commit to a preorder. I'm still eager to hear people's opinions when it comes out because I may buy it around Christmas if it's good enough.

People will give this game a chance. Even Neverdead and Blades of Time had enough players to "enjoy" the games at launch. The trick is whether or not this will offer enough to keep people playing it. There will be a noticeable drop in players when CoD hits, but hopefully this will weather the storm better than the last MoH. I remember going online with that a few months after launch and seeing 250 players online....

There's still people online in MOH 2010, mainly in Team Assault and Combat Mission. The community is not at all huge, though. Sadly.

When BO2 hits, hopefully there'll still be people playing this. I pre-ordered Warfighter. I'm siding with this one, this time. It looks like they've added a lot of new features to the multiplayer. BO2 just looks like more of the same.

However, I'm a bit worried about the content, though. Say what you will about COD, at least Activision pack the games with modes. Spec Ops, Survival, Missions, Zombies (in Treyarch's titles), multiplayer, campaign, etc. EA games are notorious for being skimpy on the content. I am worried we'll just get the campaign (5-6 hours long), and the multiplayer, and that's it. A copy of Rising Sun HD on the disc would be nice (like we got Frontline last time on PS3)

Yeah I neither love nor hate COD but you're right about quantity. The amount of content going into Black Ops 2 is quite staggering. Warfighter seems really skimpy by comparison.
