*****HOOPSTAR789's REVIEW FOR MEDAL OF HONOR RISING SUN*****

User Rating: 6.5 | Medal of Honor: Rising Sun PS2
Well, Medal of Honor Rising Sun is a mixed bag, It has its good and bad moments, but overall, EA took an amazing franchise and just made it average and it felt rushed, not to say its a terrible game, just doesn't live up to the standards of a prestine Medal of Honor Titile.
1.GRAPHICS- Well, This game has definatly aged, and not in a good way. The charcter models are varied, but not so great looking, the enviroments are a nice feel and do standout, but there are many many many glitches when it also comes to the graphics. But what does puzzle me is that the prequel Medal of Honor Frontline actually looks better graphiically then this. Hmmmm, EA was lazay I guess, Overall the graphics are OK for its time, but for today's standards for aged PS2 titles, this one is kinda bad.
2.GAMEPLAY- Ok, So if your coming from Modern day first person shooters, this game is going to kick your ass when it comes to controls. Some of the buttons feel misplaced and could of used some tweaking, but they get the job done, But I have to say the biggest problem with the controls are the tank like movement, like your charcter literally no lie turns like he's 1500 pounds lol. Now the core gameplay, the game consists of a very linear FPS action scenes, but for its time that was actually new gameplay unlike now. The A.I. that is also used in this game is well... not very good, Allies shoot 100 bullets and never kill one enemey, Enemey A.I. Charge with Banzai attacks and may get one or two cheap stabs, while they bayonet rape your team mates, or sometimes The A.I. can shoot wildily at walls and even predict all your moves, causing you to get your ass handed to you on higher difficulties. But the game is playable, and some fun can be had, Just don't come expecting something groundbreaking.
3. MUTIPLAYER- N/A
4. SOUNDTRACK- Freaking amazing,
