Atmospheric Run And Gun; Hollywood action

User Rating: 9 | Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault PC
MOPHA is a great Run and Gun style first person shooter. For a game of 2004, the graphics are stellar. The game is satisfyingly long, with a good mix of ground fighting, carrier AA guns and even a mission in a Corsair. Weapons sound authentic, and so do the great Jersey accents that the characters have. There is light tactics involved, I.E taking cover, weapon choice , knowing when to advance and when to fall back... But all in all fairly simple. The game's storyline is very good, and accurately follows the events of pearl harbor and Chester Nimitz' island hopping. Even though multiplayer is long dead, the game is well worth it for the single player romp. This game definitely beats Airborne.
Good game, Quite cheap now so a must pick up.

Pros*
Long, Authentic campaign. Fun run and gun action, lots of explosions. Even though it is a run and gun, the game is very immersive; you really feel like a marine raiding jungles and villages.

Cons*
No multiplayer now ( Well, it does HAVE It but no one plays)
