A few things came to mind when I first got wind of Medal of Honor: European Assault. The first of those being, “Oh God, not another WWII game,” followed quickly by, “I wonder how they’re going to do D-Day?” It’s no secret that the Medal of Honor games have been mired in a bog of their own success, with each successive title featuring minor tweaks over the one before it. This latest entry, however, seems to be a point of redemption for the series, offering a fast-paced and exhilarating single-player that throws a few new ingredients into the mix.There are very few 'missions'; only 10 total. I say missions because that is what gameplay feels like. You are given objectives that must be achieved and you will spend some times searching the screen to find the hidden nemesis or journal that you missed on the first pass.
