The story line follows the shows in everyway from when you get Metabee too the Mega-Emperor. You can collect medals, which are the what brings these robots to life. There are numerous medals in the game that you can earn, find, & level up. Of course you need tinpits (the skeleton) to put the medals in. And medaparts to equip to the tinpit. Medaparts are the fighting parts that are essential to the game. There are hundreds of medaparts to try out. As far as the graphics go they couldn't be any better for a GBA game. The battling system was fantastic involving speed and traps to stop your opponent from attacking. You could battle with up to 3 medabots at a time spicing it up a little. And the sceneries were great. You've got swamps, cities, sewers, theme parks & much more. You'll even be able to go back in time. You'll face more than your fair share of enemies so don't worry about a lack of battling. Unfortunately you'll be facing just anybody off the street while walking around not being able to see random enemy encounters. On the bright side, fighting these random battles will earn you money and experience. Plus, there are items called Ruberobo medals which allow you skip a random fight if you're in a hurry. Later on you could also ride on a Medabot car to speed up and avoid random enemies.Theres a great deal of walking, looking for clues and finding your way so you won't fight for every second of the game. All in all, this game is by far the most fun and well thought of game of Medabots.
