Much better on the PC, but this is a great port.

The game that introduced us to "Bullet Time," and redefined a whole genre. The third person action genre was never the same after Max Payne was released. This game is highly intense and full of action. The storyline is w... Read Full Review

    Max Payne 1

The game came out for both systems so close together that there was bound to be some comparisons. First off both systems are said to be equal as far as graphical power according to the Sony fanboys correct? Well on the o... Read Full Review

A fun game with some major flaws

It may be worth noting right off the bat that I have not played the PC version of Max Payne - the PS2 port was my first experience with this game, so I will be entirely basing this review off of this version alone. Al... Read Full Review

Max Payne in my opinion has gotta be one of the best shoot em up games ever made. Even though the graphics to Max Payne 1 was crappy, the gameplay was really good and the sound was awsome. Some scenes in this game did di... Read Full Review

Good cop goes mad, Max Payne is a classic mafia action game. Matrix style bullet-time makes combat very entertaining.

Story/Gamplay: 9.5/10 - Great story and its all laid out in comic book style windows. You play as an EX-NYPD officer who gets caught up in a drug and mafia war, things get personal and he goes out after all the head maf... Read Full Review

Solid game with a good story to go with it.

Seeing that this game was released close to 3 years ago you should be able to pick it up for around $15. It is a solid game that I recommend you play on the XBOX if possible because of the save issues and the load times.... Read Full Review

This is the weakest port of Max Payne yet, but that doesn't mean its bad.

Max Payne has some flaws, but I could care less. Bullet time takes care of everything, thus making a great game; with flaws. Some people complain that its graphics are not as good as the PC or Xbox version, but it’s not ... Read Full Review
