Max brings on the Payne in this 3rd installment in the series, and no one does it better than him.

User Rating: 9 | Max Payne 3 PC
Like many games today, this games has gotten great reviews from the critics and mixed reviews from the audience, but First hand impressions are far better whatever hype or slander people can throw at developers today.

This game delivers a story set eight years after the second game, and max is a sorry excuse of an ex-cop, working as a private security guard for a rich family in Sao Paolo, while not realizing the huge trap he has been led into. This sets the basis for a story of betrayal, greed and a whole lot of Payne(if ya know what I mean.)

Thankfully, Max's sorry state has not made him a worse aim, this game will give you the chance for lots of bullet time. The combat system is really smart, making the slow motion bullet-time sequences a necessity for the survival of your character. Lot's of great guns to equip, and plenty of great invironments in which to do battle. This game is just a mother reminder of how much I love third person shooting, this combat system feels like a mix between Deus-Ex and Mass Effect 3, to which you will get no complaints from me.

The multiplayer is a real treat here, making use of bullet-time sequences in a way I had not thought possible, and for this game to actually impress me with multiplayer mode is quite a feat. This is the sort of game that will have you coming back just to see the incredible bullet-time feature, that really is the driving force of this game.

The story does lack in depth and surprises, but not to worry, the combat makes up for that in every way. Now all this game needs is some DLC.

All in all this is one of the best games I have played this year.
