Hoffman Pro BMx2 , was not fun to look at , not fun top play and included a very bad soundtrack of sfx and music.

User Rating: 5.4 | Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2 XBOX
Coming out a few too months early , Mat hoffman pro bmx 2 , missed the hole revolution of Extreme sport games , made my 2002's other releases Tony hawk Pro skater 4 , and Aggressive inline.
while these 2 games changed the somewhat tired aproach to the genre , Matt hoffman pro Bmx 2 , fell behind .

Still using the 2 minute Run , do as many challenges as you can squeze in , Pro bmx 2 just fell flat , with boring levels , boring challenges and just overall boring presentation.

The graphics were as good as the latest Tony hawk game , and the riders were more realistic than dave mirra 2's efforts. but as dave mirra 2 had some of the most superb levels visualy of all time , Pro bmx's levels were boring , with nothing going on with obvious quarter-pipe ramps and rails everywhere ,
Maybe the rail and ramp inclusions wouldnt of been so bad if the gameplay was as flawless as tony hawk, but it wasnt , you had to pin point where your bike landed to the right spot or you would get the same boring animation of a robotic rider falling off his bike. this would get very frustrating as you couldnt go far without crashing and having to start again from stalled stance.

So when you have bad general gameplay and boring level design , there isnt much that can help save the day , even with new flatland tricks from different manual positions and a whole lot of Bonus Videos.

When you come right down to it , Hoffman Pro BMx2 , was not fun to look at , not fun top play ,ncluded a horrible soundtrack of sound effects and the worst music selection i have ever heard.

With games like Toxic Grind and Gravity games coming after this , it didnt look good for the BMX genre . Luckily there was an old gem that was still fun to play and beautiful to look at , and its name was Dave Mirra Freestyle bmx 2.
