I really tried to like this game, I took my time to play it and give it a shot, but unfortunately it was not to be. The AI is horrible, races seem to declare war on you every few turns but don't attack your planets. Designing and building ships is no longer fun or easy like MOO or MOO2. For example you can desing a ship and when you click on build it will tell you that it is an invalid design, but it will not say why it is invalid, so you have to try and figure out what is missing. Maybe if your into spread sheets you will enjoy this game. This game is ideal for a CPA, since its nothing but numbers upon numbers and slide bars. The developers seemed to come up with a completely new game, which in itself isn't bad, but when something isn't broke, there is no need to fix it. MOO and MOO2 were excellent games, why they decided to turn it into a spreadsheet game is beyond me. Instead of Master of Orion, it should be Master of Bureaucracy.
