From an era when games now and then where just plain weird.

In Master Builder you get to build funny shaped two dimensional buildings as defined in the manual and startup screens.

In the game you are a little builder, with a huge ladder. On left and right sides of the screen there is a pile of bricks from which your builder can pick up a limited amount at once. Once picked up the builder can lay the bricks down in the center of the screen to build the required building. Once the foundation has been laid the builder needs to climb the ladder to build the next level.

Sounds boring? But wait! There is also a dog which rushes across ground floor and if it catches you... you're dead. Same goes for the ladder-stealing-man. If you're standing on the ladder when he steals it, you fall off, hit the ground and... die. Oh! Guess what... if you're the highest point in the screen when lightning strikes... you're dead.

You can complete the level by building the building per design and then climbing up your ladder calling the helicopter and then climbing into the helicopter to be safely airlifted to the next building site... unless... ofcourse... your building wasn't correctly build, then you get thrown out of the helicopter, you hit the ground and... die.

As far as can remember the first three levels, a.k.a. buildings, are reasonably straight forward. But the fourth is impossible... never made it.

The games' soundtrack is pretty annoying too, about 20 years since I last heard it and I can still remember it's tune though.
