Massive Chalice has been one of the best Indie style games for free with xbox gold. I would consider it Xcom meets Game of Thrones. Some fairly decent depth with class combinations and hero traits, and the strategic combat isn't bad. Main feature I'd love to see added is the ability for multiplayer. Being able to play against a friends dynasty would have been epic.
