Massive Chalice is a grid-based stratergy game in which you control 5 heros in tactical fights to save your land from evil forces. At the same time you, the leader have to make buildings to keep bloodlines going, research armours and what not to prepare for future, more difficult fights (they do get difficult), and make decisions when they arise. It is fairly shallow and very routine. Not too much thought has to go into the world decisions and research but the fighting is where the beef of tbe game is at. It becomes tiresome. There is a handfull of areas that admittedly look lovely BUT the biggest drawback is how much you will miss you shots. Sure anything below 100% is not a sure thing but the amount of times I have missed with a 96, 97, 98 and 99% is ridiculous. At least 1 in 3 miss. To take the cake and eat it TWICE I have had a 100% chance to hit and MISSED. This makes the game very unjoyable due to the enemy hitting almost all of the time. With the hit odds being inconsistent and the overworld being vanilla I can't recommend purchasing it but the Games with Gold offer may be worth the download.
