If you are a fan of RPGs, excellent stories, or simply great games, then Mass Effect is the one you need!
Graphics- 9.0: Mass Effect has some of the best graphics I've ever seen! The game gets facial expressions in characters perfectly! But you will run into a lot of visual glitches that you will easily notice. Most commonly there is texture fade, most of which is in cutscenes when a person is completely gray with no details then suddenly the details pop on. But the graphics are still great!
Gameplay- 8.0: You'll either love or hate Mass Effect's gameplay. If anything you'll struggle with it the first few hours of playing. WARNING: if you play this game like a ordinary shooter you will die a lot!!!! It is unavoidable. But after a while, you'll figure out the necessary tactics to win each and every battle. Even so, the game has a TERRIBLE cover system and a somewhat clunky inventory system. But the gameplay will grow on you and you will enjoy you just need to stick through.
Story- 10: Mass Effect easily has the best story ever in video game history!!!! If anything, you need to stick through just for the jaw dropping story!! If I say anything it will spoil the story, just know there are many surprises (spoiler alert: the biggest surprises are on the planets Vermire and Ilos). Along with its excellent story, it has an amazing world it takes place in! Along with that you will love the characters on your team.
Overall- 9.0: This is a must play game for its excellent story, enjoyable gameplay, impressive RPG elements, and outstanding overall experience! This is a must play!
