What's up, gamers? The next video game I'm reviewing is M.E.A. (Mass Effect Andromeda) for PS4, Xbox One & PC. It came out on March 21st, 2017 (last year) & had an enormous shoes to fill after M.E. Trilogy. Speaking of M.E.A., the story takes place in 2185 (between the events of Mass Effect 2 & 3) & start off their journey. The game was released, critics & gaming community were disappointed with the results. I don't know which product divided the fans worse: Mass Effect Andromeda video game or Star Wars: The Last Jedi movie. Here's my pros & cons of M.E.A.
Pros
+Squadmates, but
+Six different character class (pioneer is my favorite) & it's best in the series for players can change their class on the fly
+Tempest space ship
+Open world feel to the game (first in the franchise history)
+Romance felt REAL
+Crafting where players won't have to spent in-game money
Cons
-Players can't control sqaudmates' abilities like past Mass Effect games
-Couldn't skip intergalactic travel cut scene in the early game
-Why ditch Paragon/Renegade system, BioWare?!
-Limited enemies
-Combat isn't the greatest in the Mass Effect frachise
-Garbage auto cover system
-BORING story & that's saying something
-Recycle boss fight
-Nomad vehicle is BORING
-Side missions are the WORST in Mass Effect Franchise
-No single player DLC
It took me nearly six months, 94 hours & 44 minutes to completed the game. There are fans who will disagree with this review & that's cool. But, here me out: anytime a story isn't good, Nomad vehicle is bland, hot mess of side missions, ditching paragon/renegade system & no single player DLC, you'll get Mass Effect Andromeda. In other words, negative outweighs the positive & that's not good. I won't get into the Mass Effect franchise being put on ice for Anthem topic for it's toxic. Thank you & keep on gaming!
