One part of me is happy thinking pperhaps EA will get a shock from this and realize it needs to revitalize the industry with new IPs, the other part is saddened by this because we all know what happens when a company doesn't fare well, pink slips, and who wants that before Xmas.

After ME3 ending i cannot see how any future game on the ME universe with Casey Hudson as writer will be "respectful" of the franchise. Mizuka and Zeschuk already left, Bioware might aswell be renamed to EAware as things stand.

I won't be surprised that the next ME game will be a generic FPS set on any of the three major conflicts on the galaxy, either Rachni Wars, Krogan Rebellions or First Contact War... sure they will sell it as Mass Effect, but the soul of what true ME experience is will be completely lost by then.

EA is lying, they posted millions of losses just to avoid tax, what a joke EA.

This is all because their FIFA games keep neglecting Poland. Seriously. Just one Polish stadium. At least a few non-generic players. They aren't ALL bland-faced skinheads.

Do you guys know why they lost a huge amount of revenues bigtime? it's because of those biased bad reviews of all gamer sites. it's really a bad kind of propaganda that makes good games like moh:warfighter fall deep like shit, reviewers give bad reviews hence most end users/customers will end up not buying the product. most reviewers say that it is bad timing for modern warfare based games to come out? why did battlefield 3 that came out just 6mos ago get good reviews whilst moh:wf get shitty ass reviews? and they also say that there's no new features and whatnot that this game has? did they even play all the game mode this game has to offer? come to think of it, why did mw3 even get good reviews while that shooter span for three consecutive games without new features only game modes, isn't that game the same all over again three times over?, what's new in the codmw games? storyline? LOL seriously.. LOL.. i honestly think, what they're aiming for with that statement, is point out to COD's new move/innovation like CODBO2's switch to scifi genre is better? wow. really..

all i can say is, fcuk all those bad reviews, honestly, this game is good and by far the best modern warfare based shooter that i've seen so far. look at the uk charts for proof. this is my honest opinion, no more no less. for all i care is, i've lost faith to gamer site reviews. for they are biased and somewhat subjective to there own preferences. gamers have different preferences but sadly most gamers tend to look at reviews first before even playing a game. sad but true.

Well, if Electronic Arts dies, that gives Activision full control to release the same game every year and people will have no option but to buy it... no wait, that happens already.  Seriously though, pull all their big games off the number 1 digital distribution system? Not so clever.

To quote EA "the company's performance exceeded analysts' expectations."  EA "will post a profit of $0.50 to $0.60 per share on revenue of $1.25 billion to $1.35 billion." Trust me, these A-holes are not suffering despite being the number one reason why the gaming industry keeps turning out crap clones of games, and stifling developer creativity and small market competition.

?Thanks Jess. I wonder if EA will ever realise that their poor treatment of their customers/former customers that's the main reason for them continuing to lose money.

Good, maybe they'll think of quality over quantity now... oh who am I kidding.
