Did anyone noticed that when your love interest or whoever taps Joker on the normandy to leave, that his bones didn't break? It looked like a pretty strong tap! lol

Spoilers within.
Offtopic: The message after the credits said there will be more adventures in Mass Effect universre. I am hoping a Mass Effect mod for the C&C game they are making.
The extended endings are pretty good. They are 1000 times better than the original ones. I have one theory why Harbinger didn't shoot the Normandy. He was focusing all of his efforts to stop the charging troops from getting to the beam, and Normandy wasn't any thereat to him, that's why he didn't shoot it down. It makes actually sense, you have to have priorities. It would have taken too much time to shoot down the most advanced ship in the galaxy. In that time all of the toops could have just walked ight in the citadel.
I liked it better thinking Shepard was indoctrinated... but at least this clarifies some things.
So soldiers on foot and small quick apc's were blown apart like nuts, but a large hovering ship was able to land pick people up and fly off. Right. With that said though it was very well done though.
we have medevac copters fly into battlefields all the time to bring in supplys and remove wounded...great piolets.
Yea well I also dont think we have giant robots with lasers flying out of their eyes as a problem.
@AceCometh Yea I know Cortez was shot down, but I'm sure they still had that size of a ship ready to go somewhere, also yes Joker is a killer pilot but I feel that it was a huge risk for what Hackett called the most important ship in the fleet to go pick up a few injured soliders in what was allready being called a suicide run for the ground troops anyway. But yea I was just pointing out that I found it odd that the Normandy was the ship that made the run to pick them up, but I guess I was the only one that saw it that way.
Cortez got shot down in the mission to take out the Hades canon. So the Normandy would be the one to fly in for the evac. Just means Joker's an awesome pilot and they didn't have a bunch of troops to drop off. Only 49% of Hammer made it to the FOB.
I feel like were moving past the point, the Reapers were blowing the crap out of everything small and large within 100 yards of the beam, I really don't think the Normandy would of been able to land and pick people up, cause if that was the case then why not just drop off a bunch a troops then, they were like within 20 yards of the goal. I was thinken it would of made more sense to use a ship the size of the one that Cortez normally flew do a medevac mission not the Normandy itself. Also nothing against the men and women that really do it today, mad props to anyone who would fly an aircraft into a hot zone to save the wounded.
we also don't have spacecraft like the Normandy, Turians, London (jk)...so whats your point?
Why they have messed what was clean and then they cleaned up what was already right? The final run scene was ok, we dont need evacuation there. We only wanted to see an ending that could match with each particular character. Not just that Fallout 3 slides with a narrative. This is not even a bit of what casey hudson said it would be. Thanks for the effort bioware, but Im done with it
I think my favourite is control, sure you die physically, but your consciousness goes into every reaper, you become the reapers, you are basicly God. what isn't awesome about that? lol.

@buccomatic Yeah i had some good laughs in that part. His shield was like 1/3 with full health this time. It was very funny to watch it, it means that bioware knew about our jokes on youtube
I have to say, In seeing this.... My Companions at the end of the game that i brought with me to Earth got hit by that Mako and died.. i didnt get any extra dialogue, is there a reason for that? (I had 3500 EMS.. if that matters.) ?

So the normandy can come close enough, and long enough to pick 2 guys, then it also takes its time to leave, but it could not take some 5 guys and trhowthem on to the beam... i mean seriusly this is just an insult... i though this game was rated M not for 5 years old kids... im hating all this new cutscenes... the IT was the way to end this game... such a bad move BIOWARE.... (also on the destroy ending you can see the breathing "shepard" at the end... still aint clear how he survived)... so yeah im sad that i waited so long for nothing...
@xxxthesaintxxx Exactly my thoughts. '' Normandy we need backup, but only for my two good mates here. Forget about the rest. If you can face at harbinger for more than 5 seconds without dying, means that harbinger is temporarily blind. ahm...or something like that. so get moving joker.''
I am very happy with the endings, provides much needed closure and finally fills in many holes. Makes want to play ME2 and ME3 again.
Hater will hate, fanboys will cheer, trolls will say anything to get us mad, but in the end (if they have a brain) they will have to admit this endings are much better then the original. The extended cut adds closure and a few twists that should have been there since day one.
So, hate, cheer or troll, just stop the whining and grow up.
@risckbreaker I agree. Plus...now I can stomach the ending to the game. Thanks for the extra work BioWare! I'm sure they'll focus on complete game endings more in all future productions too. I really hope this isn't the last game in the "mass effect" universe after all.
I find the extended endings to be great, i'm finally happy with the conclusion to the ME trilogy.
So much for the Indoctrination theory. It was an admirable effort by the dedicated fans, but the devs really didn't agree with you.
I played through the new extended cut, and these should have been the endings we should have gotten back in march, its a pitty we had to wait this long.
But Iam glad Bioware listened to us, now I have some sense of closure with the mass effect universe and all my efforts through 3 games doesn't seem wasted. I even feel motivated enough to start a new playthrough from ME1-ME3. Thanks Bioware, you have restored my faith in you:)
Ps: I personaly like the new destroy ending best.
Major Coats, (2.29 Evac scene), if your entire force was decimated, you'd still have 90% of them left.
I thought Bioware did a fairly good job of addressing major plot holes (e.g. how Shepard's team made it, why the Normandy was retreating, the aftermath of the war). I definitely felt closure after watching the extended cut scenes.
i sill love love ME3 but this does nothing to alleviate the ending issue so what's the point?
It seemed hurried and cobbled together which is the wrong way to do things considering that this is a game that spans 3 titles. I would have liked to have seen Liara face though not a stock photo though.
People need to stop complaining. With what they had to work with, they did a wonderful job of making what was there, make sense.I personally consider them redeemed given the travesty the ending was before.I think the ending is now what it should have been to begin with, naturally however, people will dislike it regardless. If you want a sense of closure for the series though, I HIGHLY recommend playing the extended cut. Also, I assume that the Normandy can hide from the Reapers the same way it hides from every other ship. If its stealth didn't work at all on the Reapers, they would have been shot down on their descent to earth to begin with, no?
@MuddVader The Normandy's stealth system hides its heat emissions from other ships. It doesn't prevent RADAR and LADAR from picking it up. And considering that the Collectors/Protheans where able to detect both the SR1 and SR2 while in stealth mode I highly doubt the Reapers wouldn't be able to as well. As for the Normandy not getting shot down during it's descent: they were one ship among many. Bioware tried to close up plot holes but just ended up creating more. I guess that's what people like me get for asking, and expecting, them to fix things.
WTF was that ??? Is this ugly scene supposed to mean anything or explain something ? Baaah! GET LOST Bioware!!
Funny comments. No one complained that the Normandy flew into a full on Reaper invasion at the start of the game but doing it at the end is cheap? :P
Adopting the IT would be a wiser move for Bioware.
Now they just seem to be trying to explain why the theory does not stand by filling one by one all the blanks... If what we saw proves to be what really happened, then they should just have eaten the cupcakes and forgotten the whole story :P

Wait, What? So, Normandy lands-something it couldn't do in ME2-right in front of Harbinger, loads up Liara and Tali then hovers around for a few seconds before flying off. All without getting fried by the giant death machine right in front of it? Or even shot at a little? Really? I understand plot armor but come on. This just made it all worse.
if people just saw MAss effect 3, the WHOLE game, as one giant 20 hour ending then you would be way more satsified. I know i was. because i saw ME3 as just one giant ending.
@nyran125 Sort of. For me, personally, I felt the entire game was riddled with plot holes and was immediately thrust in confusion because I didn't play the Arrival DLC.
Marauder Shields, NO!! You died for their sins. Forgive them those who kill you, for they know not what they do.
