Despite the whole ending controversy, this game really got me going.

I'm a big TES 5 fan and I've never really liked the whole futuristic/sci-fi genre, but this really blew me away. Someone recommended it, and I apprehensively bought it. Glad I did. I fell in love with it. So, I went out and bought ME1 & 2, and I'm really enjoying both. I do wish they had the whole "planet resource probing" deal in ME3 though, as I really enjoyed that.
Despite my lack of enthusiasm for sci-fi games, ME3 actually prompted me to go out buy the little collectible die cast Normandy ship model to decorate my Skyrim ephemera riddled game-room. The option to play this game as an RPG or FPS, etc. is a very cool option, as is the ability to upload previous ME saved characters. The DLC "From Ashes" is nice and I can't wait to see what else they will come out with. The characters and interaction really grow on you and the improvements on the Citadel make it much easier to navigate through than in previous versions.
So people are complaining about the ending. Well, how cool is it that EA is fixing it?! You have to give them a lot of credit. EA listens to their fans.
Overall I gave it a 9.5. While I give TES 5 a 10 (because honestly, it is the best that I've ever seen and I think it certainly deserves it), the 9.5 I base on the premise that, to me, it falls right behind Skyrim to now my second favorite games of all time. And it is a VERY close second. So, kudos and mad respect to Dr. Ray Muzyka and the team. They took a lot of harsh and undeserved insults over the whole ending snafu, but not only do they make a great game, they truly listen and respond to us gamers.

Single-player is great. Co-op multi-player is very addictive.
