The Mass Effect trilogy goes out with a bang.
Story
The events take place after the DLC Arrival where Commander Shepard is relived of his/her duties but Reapers attack Earth and plot to destroy every living person in the galaxy. Also not only does Shepard have to deal with the Reapers but Cerberus as well who want to use the Reaper technology.
Gameplay
Well little has changed since Mass Effect 2 expect for a few things an improved melee attack and that you don't have to waste so many probes on a certain planet. Speaking of that if an area you scan has something there it will be detected but Reaper ships might hear about it and charge at you. If you get attacked it's an instant mission failure so don't waste to much time there.
Onto the basic Gameplay you can assign slot for certain weapons just like you did in the last two games. As you journey across the world you shall uncover more firepower to taking down enemies as well as adding custom modes for better range,firepower or other key areas to give you the advantage on the Battlefield. Although gone are the puzzles from the last game but it isn't really missed because they weren't that good really.
You will get the fair amount of side missions and experience to level up your characters abilities and stats to help with more powerful attacks for your characters special type of attacks like Warp,Concessive Shot as a couple of examples. Also if you had a previous save from the last game you shall begin at that level in this game. The enemy AI is much improved because this time they will stay in cover or move and even throw grenades.
There is also a multiplayer mode added which is co - op you working with other people online.You can play as a Turian,Asari,Krogan in this mode. It seems though playing some of this mode is required to possibly get the best ending in Mass Effect 3. It's not bad actually it just won't have the staying power of other online multiplayer games.
Presentation
The game looks incredible the character models are some of the best in gaming and the voice acting is top notch as with the last game. The music also adds the suspense of what could be about to happen and the cut scenes are simply stunning too. Just about everyone who was in the previous games is here providing you saved them.
Lastability
Your looking at about a possible 25 hours of single player and multiplayer is pretty fun and worth checking out plus there's side missions and certain planets to explore as well as trying to level up your guns and special powers their maximum power.
Overall Opinion
Mass Effect 3 is one of the best ends to a trilogy ever maybe the best. It has a very engaging story and plenty of things to do. It seems to have a few drops in the framerate on the PS3 from time to time but don't let that put you off buying this awesome game. A fitting end to a wonderful trilogy.
