Wow what an amazing game
First off i never tried any of the mass effect games, i personally thought it was all 100% cut scenes, story, choices, and little to no action.. Boy was i wrong
At first i was expecting to play a game without any clue of what was going on as far as the story. But bioware actually did a phenomenal job at getting the point across quite clearly and simply with minimal cutscenes..
Every few thousand years (i dont remember exactly how often) a group called "THE REAPERS" are sent to cleanse the galaxy of all organic life.. So basically it is time for all the factions to put aside their differences and re-direct their priorities to the greater cause.. Fighting off the reapers.
So basically everyone has something in common, they do not want to be exterminated! So they all decide to face the reapers together.
I am the kind of person that violently presses the skip button on cut scenes and interaction moments, but it turns out you can just select the combat option in the beggining instead of the story option and basically just be in the action 100% of the time.
Ok here is where i begin, this GAME IS AMAZING! To this day i have never seen a game with such well polished gameplay/performance. The graphics not only are some of the best i have ever seen. But it runs INCREDIBLY smooth.. I just can not get over how easily my pc can run this game. Hands down the best PC optimization i have ever experienced..
Not only that but the feel of the game just feels so perfect, the environment, the mouse movement, the crosshair aiming, everything just feels so well done and high quality.. When i play this game i just can't help but feel, expensive, like i have all the best toys in the universe.. And everything is so futuristic and clean and shiny and just so solid.. Its something i just can't describe. I really feel like i am a high class futuristic soldier.
And the combat is so easy to jump right into, i was worried i would have to spend hours learning how to use all sorts of energy spells, and cooldowns, and tricks.. But no its just combat as you are familiar with, you can easily and optionally select from different types of weapon rounds, different guns (you have like six incredibly unique weapons to choose from at all times) and there are SO MANY damn weapons you pick up along the way! Every single time you pick up a new weapon or weapon enhancement loot item, you feel like you just found a $20 bill in real life.
There is not one thing in this game done half-assed. Everything is done so perfectly, there are absolutely zero bugs, zero glitches..
The combat is amazing your squad mates are actually just as good as you are at fighting..And the enemies do not just focus on you, they focus on your squad mate just as much as they would focus on you.. Alot of the times if you do not show yourself the enemy will be fighting with your ally and you can just run up behind him.. The enemies are so realistic its just like real life, they all do things that real humans would do.. If they do not see you they do not know where you are, and they will even try and run behind the cover and be like "Whoa" and be surprised when they run in to you.. Its not like other games where the AI just always happens to know where you are.
Mass effect 3 is just such an amazing PC game. It really has everything.. And you get this feel that you are in the galaxy in a big ship, and you sit down at your desk and literally pick a spot to go, and pick a planet to go land on.. And than you can go into your bedroom on the ship and pick out clothes to wear around casually, and also read emails, and just chill and see what others are up to.. Its just a really cool game. Such high production value it feels like.
I got this game for $5 on amazon and i don't feel like i have ever played a game with a higher production value as this game has.. Its just perfect. I really think everyone should get this game its impossible not to enjoy it.
