Over four years and three titles later, the renowned series comes to an unprecedentedly epic and emotional conclusion.

Gameplay:

The series finale brings about improvement and polish to almost all aspects of the game, although once again streamlining has diminished exploration and lead to a slightly shorter game than the others. Most flaws can be overlooked however because the brilliant characters and magnificent storytelling are at their series best. Once again the ability to import your previous characters means the deep relationships you've grown and difficult choices you've made in past games will continue and have startling implications before the end. All of the effort you've put forth and moments you've had throughout the trilogy, over the span of several years, culminates in what is undoubtedly the most emotionally powerful conclusion I have ever experienced.

Visuals:

The only perceivable disappointment is that it looks just as great as the previous entry, not better, two years later. The art design is still industry-best, with several of the most gorgeous environments in the series.

Audio:

Once again the series sets the standard for acting as nearly every role is memorable by their voice alone. The sounds effects aren't a noticeable improvement over it's stellar predecessors, but the music is. Electronic beats drive the action while somber melodies and a sweeping score immeasurably add to dramatic scenes.
