I'm thinking about purchasing the Shadow Broker DLC for ME2, but I'm unsure. I WANT to, since I LOVED Liara in the first game, and because it's really the only DLC I've seen from Bioware that actually looks GOOD......but it depends on how it will translate when ME3 comes out....
People have said that if you romanced her in ME1, you can romance her in this DLC......which makes me assume she joins your party. So does that mean it's safe to assume she'll already be in my party and romanced and such when ME3 starts?
I don't wanna break up with Tali to get back with Liara, only to have Liara become mostly a non-presence again in ME3, then have Tali pretty much ignore for ever :/
Get what I'm sayin?

I would say that out of all the DLC's it is the one that gives the most to the story, you could get it keep you relationship with Tali on this play through and do another run where you stay faithful to Liara and see how the 2 different imports affect ME3.
It's hard to say who will be in ME3 with 100% certainty but I am edging my bets to say that Liara will be in ME3, without giving anything away the shadow broker does add alot to the story.

I play FAR too many games to get in to a whole nother play through the game, but I was thinking I'd just keep the one save where I'm only with Tali, then I'll have a separate one where I get back with Liara....
Liara WILL get back with me even though I've had other romances right?
>_>

You're given the option of getting back together with her, or saying no.

I have over 20 playthroughs on this game, with different classes, LI's, and Paragon/Renegade . Mainly from when I was unemployed last year for 7 months. I dont play as often anymore, since i"m working again, married, and have a kid.
I have played a lot of games in between, but I always manage to come back to this one. This game series IMO has the best replay value I would try doing another playthrough. You will see stuff you didn't before if you only played it once.
