- Mar 3, 2013 8:07 pm GMTOr maybe I just suck. I've been playing multiplayer a bunch the past few days, and I can get through bronze and silver missions pretty easily. I tried gold once with some randoms one night, but we only got to wave 6 or so.
Basically, getting 30k credits or so in a match isn't cutting it anymore. I'd like to get all the characters unlocked sometime soon, and I definitely need better weapons.
So, do you guys have any tips for gold? The character I run the most is the human engineer with 6/6/6/4/4, and I don't have any friends that play this game.

There is no Shepard without Vakarian. - Mar 3, 2013 8:14 pm GMTYou have the alliance infiltrator. Use her with your wraith or raider. Use the geth scanner until you get grenade gear. Spec her as 6/6/6/6/0
Cloak: Damage, either, Shotgun Damage
Snap Freeze: Range, cryo explosion, Damage and weakness
Repair Matrix: Survivability, Duration, Enhanced
Passive: Damage, Headshot, Damage

In case you can't tell, I was being sarcastic.
www.Omega-level.net | Salarian Sniper King - Mar 3, 2013 8:16 pm GMTrealistically until you unlock more stuff than the base humans and common weapons you are going to have a bad time.
The best human class is without a doubt the human adept. You need to put points into warp and shockwave. max both of them out. use warp on an enemy and then shockwave for biotic detonations. bring a light weapon to have a good cooldown. you will not kill much with your weapon so keep it as light as you possibly can.
you will not unlock all of the classes and weapons any time soon. trust me. because there are 10 ranks to every weapon and 3-6 customization options and the chances of getting those will not go down until you max them out.
really the only reason people have gotten new stuff at all with any amount of speed is they had everything old maxed. ive gotten several million credits in the last few days since coming back and still have not unlocked everything from the last 2 dlcs after having everything maxed from the first 3. - Mar 3, 2013 8:26 pm GMTMr_Pipboy posted...

Huh, I'll have to try her out again. Thanks for the input!

I mean, I've got quite a few classes, I just don't know how to use them that well. The human engineer is the easiest for me.
I've only been playing MP for about 3 months or so, and when I first got the game, I was only playing to get my Galactic Readiness score up, so I'm really, REALLY behind. I enjoy multiplayer, but it's also frustrating because half the time people just go off and do whatever.

Yep! And the drone is specced for shields&damage/shock/chain. Should I change that?

Change rank 4 to detonate! So it will blow up and stun baddies when they destroy it

^^ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEf5VFKplzw - Mar 3, 2013 8:50 pm GMTHmmm, I was in a similar situation, but I started out early February. Human Engineer was also what I relied on because it's easy. Don't need to aim. Don't need to count on the gun. I don't even need a good gun. Spam Incinerate and Overlord. Use the drone as a sidekick. If you want a higher score on gold and actually make it seem enjoyable, you need a better gun.
If a better gun is not on your list, use classes that don't rely on gun. Engineers are one of them. Another would be Infiltrators. I suggest testing on gold with all classes. Once you found it, use it normally for your gold matches. If you fail 2 games with the same class, try another or keep practicing. My gun is my 2nd source of offense, not 1st.
PS: Currently rolling on gold matches regularly with Demolisher. Depending on the map, I can, for about half the time, get 1st place. Demolisher is another class that doesn't rely on a good weapon. I also recommend Shadow - Mar 3, 2013 9:22 pm GMTKADFC posted...
