How do I hijack an Atlas?

One of the achievements is hijacking an Atlas. How do you do that?

First and foremost, you can't highjack an Atlas in multiplayer. It has to be in a single-player campaign.

Now that that's explained, blow out the canopy (yellow glass) using a sniper rifle. I managed to do this with a rank 1 Mantis back on Eden Prime, since I went for the DLC mission right away. Once you destroy the canopy, kill the pilot with a headshot and, if the Atlas is standing, run right up and hop in. I've also managed to jack an Atlas at Grissom Acadamy, since near the end there are two.

The easiest way is to use a sniper rifle - best would be widow or black widow.

Shoot at the yellow glass until it breaks > shoot the runner > go to the atlas and take over.
