Mass Effect 3 Question

how Can i keep my saves seperate?

I am thinking about starting all the way over at mass effect 1,but i dont want to get confused and accidentaly,save over the character ive already made.help please?

actualy,on most games,you are required to be extra vigilant.for example,back on the old nintendo 64,you could give different code words to keep your different saves seperate.this is not an option here.
on elder scrolls 4:oblivion it kept my 4 characters together.one day,i accidentaly nuked my best character who was light years ahead of the others.i just didnt want that happening again.i dont want to live in fear of losing my awesome shepherd because i got my saves mixed up.
besides,i figured out the answer any way,no help to you.it does have a choose career option IN loading.

... just because the fact that this question is still open bugs me, I'm answering:

Starting a new game will create a new character and a new "career." This is kept separate from other "careers," or save files. Therefore, saving one career over another would be quite a feat.
