General Oraka and Blue Suns?

I'm having trouble with Aria's quest where you recruit the mercenary companies. I want to recruit the Blue Suns, but without having to kill General Oraka in the process. When you talk to him on the citadel, he mentions finding guns somewhere [like an alternative to having to strong arm the Blue Suns]? Anyway, was just wondering if there's a way to recruit the Blue Suns without killing Oraka.

Yes there is. The arms dealer he's talking about is on the other side of the area where the Salarian shopkeepers are. Talk to him and he'll want other goods in trade instead of credits, which is a simple matter of Salvage. I forget the exact cluster, but it is marked unlike other salvage missions so you shouldn't have a problem finding it.
