Aria:eclipse sidequest help please?

Unless you did glitch, you should recieve a message over your headset saying that Aria withdrew her request for the leaders release when you pass through the large security scanner to get to the elevator.
This means she accepted the salarian as the new leader and that portion of the quest is over. The message was fast, I had to load a save game because i missed the message the first time, but my journal says the quest is completed after that point. Hope this helps^^

This quest seems also to be glitched. If possible try a savegame right before the quest.
Normally when you go back to the elevator Bailey will notice you and the quest should be finished. -
Talk to Aria and see if there's any difference made. If things work out for the best, she'll say that the Salarian guy is a much better choice for Aria than she even realized and that you've got all you need.

I didnt find out until I went to the refugee part of the citadel where you talk to the second in command where he informs you that he is now in control then go back and speak with aria
