2 Day Online Pass length?

Is the free two day pass for 48 hours (from the time of activation) or two calender days? Also, would you say that this time limit is a good amount of time to get done what needs done online (as in raising your readiness rating as high as you need) or is it too short?

2 Days will be enough to maximise your readiness.

If you can find a good & consistent team. It should only take a few hrs to get readiness to max. However do so only right before starting the last mission. Trust me you WILL know it's the last mission.
