    @Ikuid They have a similar air of mystery, but they are two completely different entities. The shadow broker trades/sells information, while the illusive man is the head of Cerebrus(sp?). I'm pretty sure the shadow broker has sold a fair share of information to the Illusive man

    Is the illusive man the same as the shadowbroker or are they related in someway? I know the Shadowbroker was a big mystery in Mass effect 1

    He didn't kill more of the guards because he wasn't paid to kill them, just the target. Why expend the energy to kill someone if you aren't going to get paid for it?
