Mass Effect 2 took all the great elements of its first part and made them better
Story: The story begins one month after the events of Mass Effect but actually that's the introduction. The real events start two years after that, Shepard lost the first Normandy after an attack of an unknown ship and he died but Cerberus managed to take Shepard's body back and revived the commander. Shepard will make an uneasy alliance with Cerberus for stop the reapers kidnapping humans for some evil purpose and with that he must get a whole new crew with the new Normandy and some old members from the original crew. The story some might say is predictable but I think it worked well with this game, there are many things that will keep you longing to wait for what will happen next. On a sidenote, if you played Mass Effect 1 and you kept your saved file you will be able to export your Shepard and with him all the events that you did on the first one so expect that the decisions you made affect the story of this one.
Sound: Great, amazing, kudos for the people that made the amazing soundtrack of this game. The voice actors were top notch on this one too, the Shepards did a good job and all other voice actors did it well, they manage to immerse themselves in their characters and give us a good experience. The sound of the weapons, ships and all that are great too.
Gameplay: Ok, the interesting part of Mass Effect 2. Bioware changed alot of things from the first and second one, now it feels more like a shooter than a RPG. When you kill enemies you won't gain experience, instead you gain it after you finish the missions but after that they polished alot of things. You can now travel to more planets and get their resources by the use of probes, it is more easy now for control your squad and travel through the galaxy. Ah, almost I forgot, they removed the inventory and the only way for you to replenish health is by hiding and not getting any damage.
Graphics: In my opinion it is one of the best games I have ever seen so far. The graphic quality is great, facial animation is better now, the colors, light, shadows... Well, I don't need to explain more, just watch it and see for yourself how beautiful the game looks.
Overall: Mass Effect 2 is one of the most enjoyable experiences you can get in any console or pc game. As always you can make decisions that will make an impact on the game and possibly in the next game of the trilogy, the replay value is high because of all the side missions and the possibility of the romance possibilities for Shepard, the paragon and renegade choices, the story itself that is great and the ability for travel through alot of places of the galaxies. Bioware also did a good job of removing alot of glitches, there are some but they aren't annoying as the first one. This game is a must for every pc gamer.
