Mass Effect2 is a very good game that continues the ME series. Some aspects are not as good as ME1,while others improved
Better graphics, better combat, optimized better, better presentation, better level design and better voice acting. Along with great atmosphere, story and dialogue that the first ME had.
This game will pull you in right away and will have you addicted in no time. 5 hours here, 4 hours there and so on, Mass Effect2 is like a blockbuster movie except its made with the love and originality of a good foreign/independant movie.
I dont want to spoil any of hte story for anyone so I will stay away from that, Ill just say that its a great story that keeps you engaged and entertained the whole way.
Mass Effect 1 had some great ideas and was a fun game, but it also had some issues, its great to see Bioware improve onthe things that needed improving (although I would have liked a bit more of the roleplaying from ME1 in this).
Games like this dont come out very often, there is realy no flaws or bad things to say about this game. I have played about 41 hours and the only glitches I ran into was some grpahics tearing once in awhile (very rare) and this one time my character got stuck, other then those SMALL issues, the game is gaming perfection.
Do yourself a favor and give Mass effect2 a buy and put your seat belt on because you are in for the ride of your life.
This is a MUST play for Science Fiction fans, Star Wars fans, Videogame games, KOTOR fans, fans of reading good stories and much more. Mass Effect 2 really has put everything together here for an excellent gaming experience.
I also have to hand it to Bioware for coming up with two great games so close to one another... Dragon Age was great and Mass Effect2 is awesome aswell.
You have alot of choices to make in Mass Effect2 and there are some fantastic characters your meet and work with along the way. I clocked in my first playthru at about 36 hours and I did about 95% of the side quests. You can run thru the game faster if you dont want to do any other missions or if you dont explore, but if you explore alot and do all the side missions this game will last you anywhere frmo 25-40 hours.
I for one cant wait for Mass Effect3 down the road, this is one series that demands to be played. While not as good overall as ME1 for me personally, its still a good game!
Near gaming perfection right here, do yourself a favori and go buy a PC or xbox360 if you dont have one already, Mass Effect2 is worth spending the money no doubt.
