Play as and Save Secret Characters
To unlock the secret characters and save them onto the memory card, you must perform certain tasks to challenge them (and a partner) in Arcade Mode. Defeat them and they will be added to your roster. Note: These are quite difficult to unlock, and make sure you save your progress through the options menu because there is no auto save. It is also suggested that you change the difficulty to one star, change rounds to one, and play on 'easy mode'.There is no auto load so after saving them, you must also load them for future use.How to Unlock Unlockable Finish five opponents with a hyper combo, finish two rounds with a cross-overattack, and never lose a partner. Gold War Machine (Iron Man) Finish two rounds with a cross-over attack, finish seven opponents with a hyper combo, and never lose a partner. Morrigan (Lilith) Finish three rounds with a cross-over attack, never lose a partner. Orange Hulk Get first attack every round, finish four rounds with a cross-over attack, finish two opponents with a hyper combo, and never lose a partner. Red Venom (Carnage) Use all helpers every round, finish two rounds with a cross-over attack, finish three opponents with a hyper combo, and never lose a partner. Roll Everyround-Switch starting fighters, use all helpers, get all first attacks. Finish with one hyper combo, two team up combos, three cross-over attack. To play as Onslaught, successfully defeat each of the secret characters in arcade mode, saving then to a memory card. Once all the secret characters have been enabled, the Onslaught mode will open up on the the title screen, enabling player 1 to play Onslaught either with a second player or the CPU.Perform Moves after KO

Unlockable Fighters
How to Unlock Unlockable Successfully complete the game as Megaman under any difficulty setting. Highlight Megaman and press Right at the character selection screen. Then, the unlocked character can be saved to a memory card. Play as Roll To play the game as alternate Venom, beat the game with the regular Venom. Then return to the character select screen, and above Chun-Li's picture you will find him. He can later be saved as a playable character. Play as Alternate Venom To play as alternate War Machine, first, you must beat the game with War Machine. After you return to character select, he will be above Zangeif's Picture. He is a bit stronger on defense, but he cannot block. And his Hyper Combos cannot be stopped by Play as Alternate War Machine Lilith is the sister of Morrigan. Her Hyper Combos are a bit different except for the Darkness Illusion. To acces her, beat the game as Morrigan, and return to the character select screen. She will be found underneath War Machines picture. Play as Lilith Onslaught is the End boss for all the characters. He is slow, and quite weak, considering he only uses sentinels. His hypercombos have to be entered manually, even if you have selected Easy or Beginner modes. All his matches are one round if her wins t Play as Onslaught Shadow lady is the Cybernetic, dark, form of Chun-Li. She is much faster than the original, and may be the fastest, besides wolverine. To access her, beat the game with Chun-Li. The, at the character select screen, she will be underneath Gambits picture Play as Shadow Lady To play the game as alternate Hulk, first you must beat the game with Hulk. Then when you return to the character select screen, he is right above Ryu's picture. Play as Alternate Hulk

Overkill
This secret works every time you win (except against Onslaught,
or in Cross Over mode). Press select before your character
strikes a victory pose (and after your opponent stops moving)
to regain control of your character. Then you can continue the
Brutality!!Burning Jin
When you are using Jin's taunt continue to hold the select button and repeatiliy press other buttons (except start button) and Jin will become red, then will burst into flames. This is considered a super combo when you finish someone with it, and it earns you 30,000 points if you use this with the Brutality code (select button after victory.)

Chun-Li's Damaging Taunt
Chun-Li's taunt will actually damage foes if she is standing right next to her opponent. She slaps her foe, all the while having a big smile on her face. ^_^Earn extra points
After defeating an enemy, press start. Then, do some moves or hyper combos. If your character is 'frozen' while doing an action (Eg. hyper combo), he or she will get some points based on how difficult the frozen frame is to obtain. This only works for some moves.Megaman Stage Clear Song
The Stage Clear tune from the Megaman series will play instead of the normal tune when your character says his or her winpose if you win with Megaman or Roll.Jin's Damaging Taunt
After pressing Start to activate Jin's taunt, repeatedly press weak punch, medium punch, high punch (this also works with kicks) to have Jin start rubbing his back faster. He will begin to turn red, then catch on fire. If he is on fire and the enemy touches him, they will get burned.
