Did you know... Posting anything on the internet will be ignored, disregarded, flamed, misconstrued... etc. People are idiots, especially online. I've seen it so much I get a lotta situations where I write something out (whether it be try to explain a point, back up someone else, introduce an interesting new idea, whatev) then go "Wait... Are people gonna care? Is anyone gonna notice? Or is this just going to disappear and not be worth the time?" and usually it's not worth it.

Think I just came up with a new Doom loop... It's only 728k though. But I like it. Very therapeutic to perform. Shame I has no recordan softwarz.

Smasher, I tried that team against Maverick and did fairly well with them. I'm sure Maverick can back me up on this. The team is not bad actually. I don't know if Maverick was blocking wrong but I think I got dirt nap against him twice with anchor X23. Plus ankle assist can setup potential unblockables for both characters. I just need to improve my X23.
And I feel your hate for certain characters are odd. There are far greater "evils" than those two. Spencer, Wesker, Vergil, Skrull, and maybe Doom come to mind. And Hulk online is dumb online sometimes.
I'm also liking Nova/Chris pairings. It's sexy when I get a Chris combo off a Nova throw. I just need a reliable anchor. Strider is nice but gimmicky.

hm...still a bit vague to me as I'm not sure if it's where I had in mind...
I dislike many chars, including the ones you listed. Trish and X23 are just head and shoulders above the cast for being obnoxious whores. I also dread mirror matches.

Not sure I understand obnoxious whore bit. They both have no health and don't hit very hard. Plus, mirrors? I don't recall you using them much.
With my Frank team, busy is right. End a Chris combo with sweep combo, DHC to round harvest, tag Frank, jump picture. Easy level 4/5 depending on length of the combo. If you do Chris ground series, air series, machine gun otg, st H. S, air series, jump magnum, flamethrower, sweep combo, round harvest, Frank, you should get level 5 Frank. Only problem is that Chris combo is hard online.
Cart assist helps get Chris a hit and scales damage enough so lower health characters don't die. Chris hitting too hard is a detriment sometimes.
If Chris dies, cart assist is a good lockdown for rushing Trish. Use a TAC to level Frank. Snapshot, die, die, die, goodbye, dead Trish. DHC to round harvest, tag Frank, picture.
I think the Frank/X23 teams can be solid. But I need to try them with friendly people.

Got a brief chance to play chou online last night when I was lucky enough to get into a Japanese lobby thanks to abou. Really, really neat experience on the whole. I managed to take a game, then got stomped, but still a great experience nonetheless. ^^

I think I've hit a block in leveling up. I feel as if I'm not getting better. Maybe I've hit my peak, maybe It's the online lag and shenanigans, maybe It's me being a whiny salty *****, or maybe It's me just bored of this game. I really hope I get passed this phase but my interest for this game is slowly bleeding. I have no local scene here and I'd have to travel in order to get some matches offline and honestly I think this game might be ruining me. I've gained weight and have lost muscle mass, I rage 2/3 times I play online, and It's not helping my relationship. Sometimes I sit and think, "Why in the **** am I playing this game?" I forget why I picked up Marvel in the first place. And it was to have fun. 3/4 times I play, I'm just not having fun anymore. And THAT'S the problem. Maybe I'll get over it soon or maybe I won't. And at this point Idk if TTT2 is worth my time. I feel as if I might go through the same phase as I did with Marvel.
So when Borderlands 2 comes out I won't be on Marvel for a loooong while and I can't wait. I can have fun with that game and not really worry about competition or lag.
But I just wanted to say thanks to all of you guys who have helped me level up my game. I really appreciate all of the constructive criticism.

Yeah man, if you’re not having fun, take a break. I understand the feeling all too well, but I just can’t pull myself away. ^^; I’m sure part of the reason why is because I’ve had a great, dedicated group of friends to play with, and, especially with fighters, that makes all the difference in keeping things fun
Still greatly looking forward to TTT2 though. Looks like a load of fun at this point

Hey Mav, going off of our brief conversation concerning H&H and getting those elusive herald colors the other night, I thought this might interest you. You've probably seen it already, but since it seems like these guys are pretty successful at what they do, I'm thinking of giving it a shot.
