Don’t think I ever saw that one either. ^^ But yeah, all things considered, Ultimate has been quite glitch free. I guess there’s the infinites and the Kubota escape, but neither of those seemed to be game-breaking in the end, which has been good to see.

I don't exactly love the idea of giving them more traffic than they deserve, but their pokemon black and blue game is hilarious (for all the wrong reasons).

This is news to me, but apparently there are Darkstalkers games coming to XBLA (1 and 3 I believe), and this is just a prelude to Darkstalkers 4. Especially after my little chat with Chaos about Morrigan, I'm really interested in the series. I'm actually looking forward to these. But apparently it will be using the SF4 engine (I didn't like SF4), but we'll see.

And I hope to friggin' god that Morrigan has an English voice. I know she speaks Japanese in most games she's in. The last thing I want to hear is "kerayroo" or "tholelelo" constantly since I may want to play Morrigan.

Just saw the announcements this morning. Definitely hyped for Resurrection. I love the old Darkstalkers games. They're just beautifully made, and Hsien-Ko DOESN'T F***ING SUCK in them :B But seriously, as long as it's not more ggpo nonsense, it'll be a buy for me.

News of a new Darkstalkers sounds fantastic though. I hope they keep it in the vein of the old ones. The original series put a lot of interesting emphasis on air combat, which wasn't something seen at the time. It'll be cool to see what they do this time around

Yeah, just saw that before I left for the office this morning. Mad hype!

Aw, crap. Just read the bit about Resurrection though, and it’s going to be ggpo based I’m definitely torn over this one. I love the Darkstalker series, but was really, really put off by recent ggpo outings. I did hear that Origins actually used ggpo workably though, even in overseas matches. Did anyone here get that? And if so, was it workable? Comparable to Ultimate’s netcode, at least?

Weird question... but smasher got me thinking...

Who exactly is a good anchor in this game? I was thinking of running a team of Chris, Trish, and Hawkeye. I can't set up double flamethrower combos with this team to get lots of meter, but Chris can still do a lot of damage/build meter without spending meter.

But Hawkeye still has trouble opening people up. I know Akuma is good. But who else might work for this team outside of Wesker/Vergil?

I use Doom anchor on my MorriDoom team, but I really don't like having him last because he has just about zero comeback potential against a lot of teams.

Yeah I think if you want doom on team he goes best second, so you get the crazy assist but he doesn't get stuck on his own. One team I do is Spencerdoomammy which works pretty well. Ammy in third doom second... Not much freedom I guess

I REALLY wish I liked the way Douche played. As I've said before, Chris, Trish, Doom can be really good. I have a few things going for that which makes them awesome. But Doom is just so boring. Plus he can be zoned out fairly easily.

BL2 is so glitchy. pissed there isn't an in-game "Abort Mission" option. too bad afaik there has yet to be a detailed save editor like Willowtree in BL1.

And to add to that, somebody that can self OTG into a combo is nice.

I was just watching this week's TRB, and I realized that the guy I was going even with in casuals two weeks ago was this week's winner, LXG|Hypnawtik. That's crazy, considering that the top 8 included Marn, Infrit, LLND, Royal Flush, and Wentinel. I might have actually placed pretty high if it weren't for tournament nerves.

I played mission mode to kill some time and was surprised that some missions that previously seemed hard were pretty easy. Strange's 10 in particular was way easier than it looked.
