I would just like to get two secrets off my chest. This might be news to some, but.... I HATE this fighting game lingo with a passion. Its like there's a new hipster buzzword every other week. I thought you guys just typed like this. But I join parties and you guys even talk like this. Seriously, you guys sound like muppets. Second secret is Trish is hot.
And from the last topic it is a brown recluse. I had a guy who got bit in the hand and lost a chunk of skin the size of a quarter.
And while I'm not that free to Haggar, I feel pelicany if I get killed by one. Especially since all the characters I use should murder him.

I'm guessing you joined Pats party. I hate it when he starts saying "Pelican." That is why I used it for the topic title. I don't hate all of the lingo just about 90% of it. The only terms I use are mostly Yipes related.
And yeah **** those spiders.

I don’t mind the lingo at all to be honest. I personally find the pelican term to be absolutely hilarious. But, as a linguistics major, I also tend to have a very broad acceptance of new/different terminology utilization, which I guess is why I’ve accepted the lingo as it is. ^^

Part of the reason I don't like playing Patteable is because I have no answer for him. I'll win 4 matches out of 20 if that. And I dislike the constant FG talk. I feel like punching a malnourished cat when people talk or type "gdlke."
But for some reason Yipes doesn't sound like an idiot when he talks like that.

those aren't exactly secrets you've been keeping very well...it's 'scrubby' btw. this is actually 'stream monster' babble I think you have a beef with (fraud, pelican, spammer, brazzers, Kappa, DansGame, PJSalt, homophobic words etc), aka the childish stuff I love abusing to death, which is understandable, but do understand there's a difference
(well unless of course you happen to dislike actual fg terms like low/option-select/superjump/vortex/okizeme/dp etc that are used for legitimate descriptive purposes for whatever reason)
oddly most if not all my chars (even the roll joke Tron) crap on haggar pipe so I haven't had an issue w/it
Edit: I feel the same, but rather because Yipes is someone that came from the Marvel2 days and actually "lived" it, y'know?

I have fun when pat starts talking abuse about random players but I get the impression he doesn't really try his best in his matches. kinda brings down my spirit a bit when he clearly does something wrong either out of laziness or sandbagging. :[

I just don't have an answer for him with my two teams. I want to make a zoning team just for a counterpick at this point. When he is backed by drones or missiles I get locked down like crazy. Especially against online haggars.

Pat can be informative and is a damn good player, but he is one of those guys that I would punch in real life if we played offline.

I think I need to learn Strider, Dante, or Morrigan. I am most keen on Strider and Dante though. My Morrigan still sucks.
I was thinking of going Chris, Trish, Stider (maybe replace Trish with Deadpool). I know Trish can't do much off Vajra but can they work?

Especially against online haggars.Ah, yeah, Haggar with drones creates some really ridiculous pressure. I think the most important thing to do is just to be patient against that combination and be wary with chicken blocking since the pipe lends itself well to a throw option select, which can then lead to massive damage. Otherwise, because you aren’t going to get chipped out, you can afford to wait for an opening to either escape or punish. Take advantage of the fact that Haggar can do nothing once he starts throwing out the air pipe to smack him around, and since a lot of Haggar users will overuse this (myself included ^^
, you can bionic arm him, hopefully catch the Sent assist while you’re at it, then x-factor and go for the kill if you wish. Muten caught me with this plenty of times back in the day ^^;
I will say as someone who uses a zoning team that I suffer the same problems you do against that combination (dealing with intense pipe/drones pressure). The only difference is that once I’m able to make distance, I don’t need to get in to do the damage I want. As long as I have a half screen to work with, I’m golden. If you’re considering a zoning counter, using characters who get excellent spread (Deadpool) or have a strong, piercing projectile (Hawkeye) will essentially allow you to eliminate the drone pressure completely either by tagging Sent before he can fully get drones out (in the case of the former) or blowing through the drones (in the case of the latter), which then diminishes the opponent’s game plan significantly.

Hey guys. Figured out how to get here on stupid new phone. Back on holiday atm :-)
Uh...
Played pat like once, don't remember anything amazing so he was probs bein lazy. Just remember a lotta mic babble and background noise which really annoys me in this game.
Doom is always worth a shot, I was getting really happy with mine lately.
And Dante strider is loadsa fun, recommend
Uh think that's it. Oh and "stream talk"is dumb, but then so is everything on the internet. People are stupid
