Down, Down-Forward, Forward, L1 or R1 (Or whatever buttons you have assigned as the tag buttons.)
Keep in mind that you use some Super meter while doing it.

Snapback attacks work like this: You know how you use the L1 and R1 buttons to switch out to another character? If you push a shoulder button and Do a quarter circle forward on the stick at the same time, you'll use up half a super bar, and do a normal hit that sends the enemy fighter away, and replaces it with one of their partners. L1 attack sends them away for their second partner, and R1 sends in the 3rd partner. It's great if you comboed them as an assist, and don't want them to regain their health, or to have a few seconds of air. Thats how I have done it, and it is in the game manual too.

if you want to successfully perform a snapback it's better to use it in a combo. Just do L,M, qcf+L1 or R1. If you're opponent blocks the snapback then you failed. BTW you need at least 1 level of your super meter to perform a snapback.

I find Snap-Backs extremely useful for finishing people off.
If Doctor Doom, for example, has very little life left, my opponent would most likely try and put him in reserve to gain some life back. But if I use a Snap-Back on his other character, I can force Doom out on the field so I can finish him off. -
Fireball + Partner 1 or 2 button.
Depending on which partner button you press, you'll swap to that partner. -
Down, Forward, L1 or R1
